RETREAT ROCKMONT

A 4-day 3-night retreat for men to disconnect from the demands of life and reconnect with what matters to you.

Men…

We live in one of the most connected yet disconnected cultures in human history. We experience challenges in balancing relationships, marriages, parenting, friendships, work, and our sense of purpose. We often forget to take the necessary time to rest, reflect, have fun, and nurture our heart and soul. This is an invitation for that time. Are you feeling the call to rest and adventure?

Retreat Rockmont is a place where, instead of you serving others, we are serving you, free of expectations or rigid schedules. A place where you can take a breath and be, enjoy the freedom to design your day your way.

Reasons to Retreat

The Pit

For thousands of years, leaders, kings, elders, and sages have gathered around the fire to slow down, share stories, and impart wisdom. The Pit was created to honor this age-old tradition and the men who gather around it.

Join our conversations around the fire every evening after dinner. This time offers a supportive environment for you to engage in meaningful dialogue with other men on a range of topics like fatherhood, family, faith, leadership, relationships, self-care, emotional intelligence, and more.

Share your thoughts, be heard, and listen to others. Bring your celebrations and your challenges. All aspects of your journey are welcome here.

The History of Rockmont

This land holds a rich history of innovation and wonder. Originally developed by E.W. Grove, the land at Lake Eden began as a family retreat area, providing a serene escape from the demands of work. In the 1930s, it transformed into the site of Black Mountain College, a pioneering institution in creative and experimental education. The college was home to many influential figures, including Buckminster Fuller and John Cage. When the college closed in 1956, Camp Rockmont was established, continuing the legacy of innovation and holistic growth.

Each home provides a unique atmosphere to rest and recharge whether you seek cozy cabin, scenic views, or mid-century.
